Yeah they're completely different. While you can get some sort of psuedo-ring mod tones with the GB24, they do completely different things

The Montreal Assembly forum doesn't appear for me...

Does the new Goodbye have an additional momentary switch and three toggle? Because that would be hot.

I'm not sure what's happened with the forum, but there is nothing new there. I guess just check the website instead. Should have some basic clips up by this weeks end, at least to give an idea of what the other 'modes' do.

There is some ring mod weirdness you can get having the pitch knob close to the original pitch but vastly different. I've played both.

Or did you mean money wise?

The other night I dreamt I ran across a GB24 for sale and had to keep myself from buying it so I could save for the new one.
My first GAS dream.

Yes I am building a run right now. also the shark tank should be sorted out soon, it seems i missed an email re paying the annual fee, so eventually it was just paused. There are some photos on my site of a more or less final product. If i have time i will post some clips in the next few days.

Could you tell some more about the extra modes / functions and footswitch compared to the Goodbye 24?

I think a demo is the easiest way to show the functionality,i will try to put something up soon, the other 2 modes are sort of looper modes, so the extra foot switch is a record button for those. The new 'mode' switch just picks what mode the pedal is operating in (gb24, or one of these looper modes). The 'exp' switch typically controls how the expression jack is handled in any mode. One of the new modes is a bit similar to the teaspoon/stutter idea, although not exactly. The other new mode is a more straightforward looper concept, but plays back up to 3 layered versions of the recorded sample, and you can control the rate/direction of the playback of each version independently via the pots.

Ah, that's supercool, I think I understand a little bit of what it is now. :thumb:
What about the quantised chromatic intervals, is that still happening?
