Hey now that's pretty cool! Those are your weapons on your kitchen floor there, amirite? Dungeon Crawl Tuesday at your house? Frig that's gonna be fun! I think you have a battle axe and a battle hammer though, not that your enemies will care when it's smashing towards them. Post pics of your loot haul!

Well sir, the pitch shifting at one octave down gets some dev comments frequently on the Spin forum, it's a little limited and the method you have to use results in a warbling at certain pitches, most noticeable over low held notes.. it has to do with how the shifting is constantly looking at the oldest sample it can and using that to calculate the new pitch.. the frequency it does that at can kind of communicate with certain musical pitches and warble.
You gotta keep in mind I'm not trying to re-define the cutting edge of digital technology here, the Spin chip is intended for rock'n'roll, you knowwhatimean? It sounds cool and is fun!
I hear you though and there's a technique you can do with programming where you repeat the process on the samples, called oversampling, and it can have a big effect.. I do it on my notch filter patch 3 times to really notch that sucker to the max. The pitch shift code is quite long though, I don't know if there's room for even one more iteration.. but I hear you, down the road, not for launch, I could split that patch into up and down octave patches and try to oversample them for better results...
