I love them!! Quick question- how did you ground your bridge to the rest of the guitar? I fought and fought to get solder to stay on the bottom of the bridge to ground it

Just tape the bare end of wire to the guitar with some shielding tape and screw the bridge down on top of it.
If you don't have any shielding tape just screw the bridge down on top of the bare end of the wire.

I'll have to definitely do that if the acid core solder fails haha

I'm sooooo happy with the stain. For reals. And I'm glad I wiped some off to show the grain more as well.
I'm thinking I might try to get a Strat body together from the same body builder and stain it the exact same and put these extra pickups I've got laying around to use!

Reminds me of the old Telecaster Ashtrays but 1000x more useful and 1000x less likely to get in my way haha

I HOPE VACAY WAS GREAT ANCIENT HELP ME INTUNATE THIS BEAST. Seriously though, it's pretty mind-boggling how to tune this. I most definitely need to pick up a better tuner

There really isn't any reason to solder it to the bridge unless you just like a challenge.
Once you screw the bridge down, it's not going anywhere especially if you use the shielding tape.

There's nothing good here right now — build a Telenasty instead!

I never even considered the tape to bridge connection...such a simple and good idea.
I've tried soldering it to the bridge before, but fuck that. Physical connection's okay. The beating it would take to dislodge that wire would probably shatter the guitar first.
