So, this stuff is like, really bad, but I'll share it regardless. I made these 3 years ago as a way to kind of force myself to learn how to use DAW software and VSTs. Basically just pseudo-ambient abstract noise stuff.

I don't think the point of noise music is to sound good :idk:
I listened to them, sound pretty good to me.

OHHH! I'll have to go through all of these later when I'm not "multitasking." By that I mean mixing a new track and getting ready to make dinner.....BUUUUUUT......These are my best so far. Trees at Night is probably the best one.

Sounds like a stream of consciousness, dig it.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you organize this?
Is it multiple tracks cut up and layered or a straight through kind of deal?

Thanks dude!

One track is my Drone Commander with delay from my Atomic Clock and plate reverb from my RRR. It was also boosted with a Sparkle Motion (I love this pedal so much!). That was just one take with me tweaking the parameters of the DC and the feedback of the delay for some washes of oscillation. This is the most prominent sound in the mix and the other tracks are focused around it.

Another track is my Monotonic Labs U73 with some phaser, delay and reverb. It's just used as kind of a base tone to fill out some sonic spectrum. I didn't really mess with it, just let it run for the duration of the track.

I also used a Monotonic N37, which is a 4 step sequencer oscillator. That one also had delay and verb. I just messed around with it and cut up parts I particularly liked and sprinkled them throughout the track. If you here the high pitched weird sounds (they are subtle and quieter) that's what this part is. I kind of want to add a few more different sequences of this to the track just to mix it up.

Awesome man, thanks for the rundown.
I wanna try out a Drone Commander super bad.
I know you just got yours, but how do you dig it so far? Do you feel like there is a lot of room to play with or mainly just a few solid funtions?

It has so many more sounds than I thought it would, lots of room to experiment since most of the controls are push/pull and can serve dual functions or activate or deactivate certain functions. I'm still getting the hang of it, it's more complex than I thought but I'm happy about that. More to learn, more to experiment with, more fun to be had :thumb:

Idiot noise, I dunno.
I wanted to make something today, but couldn't keep at it. So I just kinda mashed the little things I made into one.
Wes, that last track is really cool! Scraping sheet metalcore. Standing outside a factorycore.
Damn, this whole page is cool.
