I remember one particular day at college, when I was walking down the street, and I looked up, and realized that even though I'd been in the same town for two years or so, I had never looked up high enough to see the roofs of the buildings on Main Street... and the sky just looked HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE all of a sudden.
Life on the whole is sometimes like that, I find. Some days, it's hard to see why one even goes thru the motions... the struggling, the squabbling over pennies, the reasons why some ppl are unnecessarily mean to one another. Other days, you can wake up and feel a purposefulness in each breath... You step out of your house and recognize that you're not just a cog but the master of the whole machine. Today is one of those days for me.
Today there is no "Why".

Common thought while walking around my college campus:
Why do people text so much?

I changed my mind... there IS a why today: Why the eff is hail so goddamn painful? I feel like God just shot a barrel full of sand at my face.

Why can't anyone just be alone for like ten minutes? It boggles my mind. I completely appreciate the serenity of isolation, and I welcome the original creativity that comes with loneliness. I guess I'm more a harvester of emotions than one who experiences and mourns them.

Why can you microwave bacon?
Sweet Jesus why?
Why do I mean that in the best way possible when I know it's going to lead to some serious health conditions?
And why do I like these big spaces?

Why am I such a hypochondriac? I found like 20 mouse turds in the back of a new-to-me cab this week (Bag End Q10B-D hooray!), and now I'm convinced I have the hantavirus. Why?
Also I'm totally in agreement about peanut butter. M - F only. Why?

Why don't zombies try to eat animals too? I mean, they've got brains...
