I found a second hand Mattoverse and performed a classic WWIIP (White Wine Induced Impulse Purchase). 😅

So, Mattoverse Inflection Point came in today. As a pitch vibrato it's not very capable I have to say. It has a very noticable lag when you play it full wet (so probably an analog delay line to create the vibrato?) but the overall effects depth is much too subtle to create that warped vinyl effect. I like the Solidgold NU-33 much, much better for this. However, the tremolo side of the pedal is super awesome! It has a huge tempo range and effects depth, so you can do squarewave chops like the Vox Repeat Percussion, even the ring mod like sounds at high tempo rates. Sawtooth and sine waves at slow tempo creates super psychedelic backwards effects, especially when you turn up the built-in reverb, which is a metallic sounding PT2399-style resonant delay style. The Inflection Point as a slow pulsing psychedelic trem paired with the random pitch modulation of the Solidgold NU-33 is totally psyched out, it really makes you feel a little dizzy. Time to hook up the Empress Tape Delay and escape from this world.
