I tried to explain above but reading back it is not super clear haha, the TOM was definitely non-original, previous owner had put it in as a drop in replacement for the original bridge, standard mod you just need to wrap something around the bridge posts usually as they're smaller than the stock jaguar bridges and don't fit totally right. Worked alright but staytrem improved things.


If you just mean in general, I think the Kurt Cobain Jaguars had/have a TOM/AOM fitted from factory. And there is/was the blacktop HH which had a TOM and a TOM style hardtail tailpiece. Other than that IDK if they've made any jags that come stock with a TOM.

No, that was asking - thanks. I think the confusion in the thread was stemming from you having a TOM dropped into normal JM bridge post cups.

Yeah probably lol. Big difference there from something installed stock with properly fitting holes for a TOM. My bad!!! I didn't realise the stock ones were different holes because I know that just dropping them into the usual holes is the classic mod and it works fine.
