Oh, there is... it's just the other way... I think I've gotten 2-3 calls total in 12+ years.. but then I bought a lot of studio gear in that time... :idk:

This is a great strategy. "Strategy" might not be the right word. Generally speaking it's just nice to be personable.

I'm amazed by the fact that this exists as an option. If anyone tried to launch something like this in Sweden they'd be outta business within hours of opening their shop.

I blocked all calls from Fort Wayne so no idea if my rep has called in the last three years but after the Sweetwater CEO's political donations came out I don't even feel the urge to use them for disposables like picks and strings.

I sent my rep one "any discounts/coupons' on a Fender American Original and they offered 6.2% off. I could save more with the regular GC 15% off or just buying from a shop online that doesn't have to charge sales tax so... pass.
