If you were to increase the octave for each pass you'd have to (unless my brain is farting) regenerate the reversing bit too. So you'd end up with forward/reverse alternating direction. Would work a little differently for all three options.

I'm not sure where this is going but I'm interested :)

The Tensor does reverse octave up.

Ok, I've been searching for a dope octave up forever... I was basically sold on a tentacle from eqd but this just sounds good good. Can I get in on this?

Tentacle is sauce man. You want one, believe me. It's just a Dan Armstrong green ringer with some component changes to make it a little beefier.

I'm not saying instead of this, I just mean in general, it's so much fun with basically anything. Even just it by itself into a slightly dirty amp. Truly a "greatest hits" worthy effect.

Sorry that was off topic. Yeah I'd like a pladask unit

Hey!
If you guys figure out what you'd like this thing to be, and keep the hardware down to a simple 3 knob 125B with just a bypass switch (basically the same functionality as those Mr. Black pedals) I could totally do an ILF run on the cheap. I would just have to assemble the hardware and write the program. Would ship out after summer.

Option 3 sounds the most exciting (longer times always appeal more, even if just 10ms diff).

Yeah I'd be down for one. I am voting for option 3, it seems like the best option to me personally for providing something really different.

I get the feeling the increasing octave each repeat would severely limit actual feedback depending on input as the repeats would become inaudible rather quickly.

I Don't know much about the FV-1, so I'll just ask... is it easy to get them to self oscillate with the repeats knob? I love that feature.

I'm down for 2 or 3 for sure. I like that 2 includes the octave but 3 just sounds like a fun trip.

I think Option 3 would have octave as well due to "double speed".

Pladask:
"3. Granular reverse delay where all the grains are played in reverse at double speed. 1s delay time."

Cloud sharting rainbows needs to be the name of something!

You can add feedback beyond unity gain causing increase in volume for each pass. This could increase until it starts clipping at 3.3vpp (loud!!). You can also easily have infinite repeats that don't self ocillate. Would probably have to go for one of those options (hard to tune a feedback Ctrl for infinite repeats if that isn't the max position)

Said the man about to make a run of pedals for ILF. :p

Now I get it. It's the emoji! Feeling really smart over here. I'd prefer a shorter name if I have to stamp it on the pedal :P
