Most definitely.
Plus, with so many band members playing, there's a lot going on.
As people've suggested, take a look at their pedalboards from back then for ideas.

The guitar tones on that album are so layered with other instruments/sounds, they probably could be reproduced a dozen different ways and work in a mix. It's never going to sound like the album in a solo guitar situation though, even if you perfectly replicated the gear used in the recording. That album is very arrangement/performance/production driven and the guitars aren't really that distinct. There's so much going on with the picking patterns, fretting hand vibrato, live room amp interaction and production that's indistinguishable from live effects sounds.
Still, you can take what they did use and derive inspiration for your own stuff from it, certainly.

i've always assumed that part of the sound is distortion from being written to analog tape.

so in this video sounds are at about 11:30 the guitar in center right and after at about 11:38 we can better hear it
after at about 33:54 center right
after the guitar at center left at about 35:50
then the guitar center right at 52:57 and we can hear it better at 54:31
at 1:05
finally most at the center right guitar saturated sounds

I think it sounds like some element after the amp is clipping. Tape saturation or mic preamp-clipping.
Maybe add some light overdrive at the end of your chain?

This may have changed over the years but they sound very similar to their albums live.

: )
i don't really want to sound like godspeed but i like this sounds
it's something that can be replicate with small sound big sound fuck overdrive i think but i prefer the old ways
maybe it's the addition of a lot of tracks of the same parts / preamp clipping / tape saturation
i question me about this sounds because a lot of new pedals - i think - tries to emulate this kind of stuffs like it's a new thing but this sounds are already there.

i usually play my delay after my overdrive/distortion etc.. but i will try the other place (delay before)
.
yes try delay/verb into dirt on a loud amp and you will get similar vibes.. 'analog delay' into dirt does it, too. or you can by a rm-1n he he

Delays and reverbs hitting tube preamps to saturate the fuck out of it before going fuzz. I'd start there.
In their last 3 records, after the hiatus, they started to use shitload of fuzz pedals and the difference is quite notorious, but same approach.

I remember glancing over their setup when I saw them two years ago or so, but all I can remember is that there was a Drone Commander, a CT5, a Barbershop and a Sunny Day Delay. The rest was pretty standard/non-ILF gear. A lot of volume pedals, like ognoy mentioned.

Good to see I'm not the only one who was at the Oslo gig glancing at the pedals! I'll be heading down there for this year's GY!BE gig too.

That middle slide guitar section in Antennas to Heaven is godly. I had it as my ringtone for all of college.
