Not that it makes it better but that kick looked super weak. He most likely was trying to kick her camera away, which is a dick move. I don’t believe the hospital bit.

I read both her posts. Call me a dick but I want to see the wounds. I just don't buy it. I know ILF is going to give me shit about this.

Doesn't matter if he just meant to kick her camera or not. He shouldn't've kicked her at all.

If he didn't want photography, there's a place for that in a contract.

Weak-ass apology:

I agree with you. I'm just curious if she's over stating the injuries. It's wrong either way obviously.

I guess from a birds eye view that's going to be a hard thing to tell. I've been kicked in the face before and I know that shit hurts.

I think the head cutting is way weirder... like when a front person of a small band in a little club or house show throws them self around, that’s one thing and I dig it, but this was probably at a big Christmas “deck the hall ball” show or something, with a mixed bill and fans for all sorts of other bands. Just seems so weird. Get it together, dude.

And don’t hurt people.

I mean I’ve seen Manson and Rob Zombie do that shit, so it doesn’t really seem odd to me but it is super self destructive.

I’ve seen lots of little punks bands really hurt themselves in their set, just seems weird in a huge arena. I’ve never been into Manson or rob zombie or anything and it really shows haha

I spy with my little eye a new song called Feel Bad Hit of The Winter.

I'm waiting for the PTSD explanation/excuse.

Sidenote: Seen them live a few times because my ex was into them. I don't get the hype. :idk:

Almost acoustic Christmas...they used to make CDs of those shows...kinda like best of.

That thing is always lame. It's a radio giveaway show. That radio station is like 6 blocks from me haha. It's kind of an LA tradition I think. KROQ ain't what it once was but they do a lot of in studio shows I think. Last one I saw was a line for social distortion...I kept walking. Every station down here has their version of almost acoustic Christmas though...cept kearth. They just got all the DJs from the 1980s (including the one liners!)

He probably cut himself after Kevin and Bean introduced him.

Never kick people in the face. Don't know much about the dude, but he seems like an asshole.

Blading is ok if it fits with the story. Woooooo! It is Rolex time!

Yeah the kick doesn't exactly look like it was done maliciously, but still a pretty dick move. It's part of the total package of the evening though. Seems like he was having a pretty teetering mental nite overall.

I got kicked harder in Under-8 soccer. Believe it or not, my parents never filed a police report. Nor did I need stitches or grief counseling. So I can't really relate to her here.
My neck is a sore, my eyebrow bruised and I'm a bit nauseous. The doctor released me early in the morning.
This just seems like a campaign to get more followers on social media to me. In a world, where millions of people are juggling depression, debt, and a host of other problems, I've just got nothing to give her here. #DanielShaver

Her camera was broken on the front row of a rock show. If that's the worst thing that happened to her in 2017, then she had an amazing year.

I don't know. Maybe Tipper Gore was right all along. Maybe we just need to ban rock music altogether.

Didn't realize it was a radio station show. A band like QOTSA doesn't have much choice in doing these types of shows. Pretty much has to do what the radio station wants. Couldn't stipulate no photography. Homme was probably just mad he had to play it.

What kicks aren't malicious?

Just another dude that probably thinks violence is the sure fire way to be edgy rockstar badass.

Used to see tons of screamo/hardcore bands do that kinda stuff...difference is the local bands have risk. Dude on a stage is hiding behind security.

It's like pits...the rules don't exist anymore. Just a bunch of idiots that think they kinda get it going in there to punch people. That ain't what it's about. There is a direction too. It's a flow thing. Sometimes bands want to do the thrashy, spastic, kinda personal violent thing to look crazy and take it to the gg level. GG did it and it sucked then. Fine line maybe? I dunno. Seems like some people get it and some never will.

While I'm talking crap about scenesters....extra special middle finger to the mentors.

The bands you see on these things have some kind of working contract with goldenvoice/front gate. You'll see the same bands on the same festivals and same showcase shows (at least in socal). I see QOTSA/EODM on the same shows with the same bands. I think EODM played a Coachella I went to during the day when muse was headlining. Their agent/promoter has them on the pop circuit basically. These are kinda like those iheart radio I love the 1980s shows.

It's why we only get the damned, toy Dolls, or adicts at festivals here haha.

I think goldenvoice has some kinda deal with KROQ. The band signed up for that life. Knowing goldenvoice/promoters down here, they will fine the crap outta him. Bands get something like 10k a minute fine for going over and crap. KROQ is CBS media.
