Nah that's boutique teepee. Don't remember where it's from.

And yeah I did everything but the carpet install myself. Total vanity thread.

Looks great! Cool to have all that room for the kids to plink around in and a jam space

TIM DICK

Kids love to play all the weird noisemakers. And jump off the couch.

Based on my many interactions with JA, I think this comparison is pretty apt. He's definitely Wilson.

This is how I like to imagine you in the basement after work...

Considering how big Chippendale has been for me, you're not totally wrong. Now comes the 'decoration' phase. Totally forgot that I played entire shows wearing a jack-o-lantern on my head.

There were some weird years there that I don't think about a whole lot anymore.

But yeah: building a drum synth triggered by drums/logic. Slow going. It would accomplish a lot of this stuff, but with triggered samples, envelopes, modulation, and advancements in sequences. High hopes...I have a go pro on loan to document the eventual jamz.

I wish my basement was dry enough (new enough) and had enough ceiling height to actually finish out. Instead, it is like a dungeon and the possibility that it is full of radon always worries me.

As far as your basement: Very nice work! I like the color on the walls in particular. Lots of people are doing grey by sometimes it is not a good grey.

Thanks! Just have to do trim (baseboard, doors, and crown) and I'm done. But this battle station is fully operational.

On the grey thing (how hard can grey be?) greys with blue understones or brown/yellow undertones look bad IMHO under artificial light. Green undertones looked bad all around. People don't realize their light bulbs will turn the walls to poop. I was surprised how different greys looked on the wall in our house when picking paint colors.
