Yeah. Dude could totally have milked it for another 15 pedals.

I mean, for the guys that basically brought modulation back from the dead, I'm not surprised.
Sorry man. I can't help but razz you on that one still! hahaha.

Um, no. If you recall, it was I who invented modulation.
The EEPROM in the pedal is more than capable of storing additional presets. The pedal also has a USB interface for firmware updates and USB MIDI control. If customers want more presets then we'll give them more presets. It would literally be as simple as changing a few lines of code, we picked 16 because it's a nice balance between flexibility and simplicity.
The iPad app is actually TouchOSC, running a simple little template. Anybody who wants the template will be able to download it from our site for free and TouchOSC is five bucks.
Andy at PGS has one of the prototype units and will be doing the demo for release this month but we don't have an upload date. We'll do some demo stuff at NAMM as well and as soon as we're sure everything is cool we'll get one out to Knobs.
Got any more questions? Happy to help.

In Stretch mode, how long can the buffer be set? Does the playback speed affect pitch at all? Is it a smooth playback at different speeds or does it sound like little pieces of the sample are being repeated or cut?
Does it self-oscillate?

The buffer can go close to two seconds in the current firmware. The buffer is smooth, but as you change the playback rate the speed and sample rate drop off pretty fast. When you get the rate close to zero the whole thing pretty much falls apart. It's not pretty.
It doesn't self-oscillate right now, but it certainly could.

Self-oscillation is ENCOURAGED.
This looks amazing! I MUST HAVE ONE.

This, side jacks be damned, is looking sick.
I'm definitely going to hit one at some stage.

I feel like 16 is a great number of presets to have. Pedals with 99+ presets are nice, but does anyone actually use that many??

I am terribly excited for this pedal. It sounds like what I do on my computer but in a pedal and not a tower.

Yup, I'm a total sucker for this kind of noisemaker. Can't wait to see/hear some demos!
