Looks rad! I want one. Also, love the simplistic design.

He's got room at the top - see if he'll add expression control over the subdivisions - this is something the old Iron Ether Cygnet did and it's pretty rad. You would be able to get your tap-synced glitch to double/quadruple/etc. in tempo as you move the expression pedal around.

Thanks! We worked on the design together! :joy: :joy:

The modes are set to x1 or x4 the speed of your tap, so you tap whole steps for a 1/1 sample size and every half step for 1/2 sample size/double speed in the x1 modes. In x4 modes, it's the same deal; whole step for 1/4th sample size of your tap speed, half step tap for 1/8th the size. Unless you're playing speed metal, tapping every half step is really simple. Once you get to x16th the speed of your tap you're looking at 62,5ms samples if you were to tap every 1000ms, which is so fast that you wouldn't really be able to hear whether or not your glitches are synched to the beat. David tried having a x8 mode, but it ultimately makes little sense to have dedicated modes for that instead of just manually setting the sample size really low for x16ish speeds or tapping every half step in a x4 mode for octuple speeds. In regards to the expression control, you'd have to ask David, but each division is a mode that resets the chip, so I think it's unlikely to work with the way the pedal is set up to function. You can always just tap in a new tempo while the sample is held (in either latch or momentary mode) to change the speed, or use the manual sample size knob.

Ah, if each division resets the chip, then it's probably not possible to have that be smooth with expression. Still looks like fun!

This just killed my desire for all other glitch pedals honestly.

What it do, though? Like a beefed-up Raptio with tap tempo?

Raptio is my favorite glitch pedal, so that would be a fair way of putting it (just minus freeze but plus tap tempo, sub divisions and latch/momentary options). :thumb:

Edit: and, bigger enclosure, but no side jacks or power inputs. :zen:

If anyone wants to flip their raptio for this I'll grab it :hello:

Any chance of having the tap tempo average 4 taps? I never get two taps right, and it makes resyncing impossible.

I guess with David it would be doable, seems like he offers tweaking on the molecular compactor.

Or, maybe I don't get the Raptio, and ask David about a Freeze mode, and don't have to get a Raptio and this. Hmmmmmmmm. My peen peen is hard hard.
