If you're in Denmark, there's also Copenhagen Psych Fest. I've never been myself, but have heard good stuff.
Then of course there's Roskilde (anybody here going?), but that's one of the big ones.

The dates for Copenhagen Psych are August 8-10 so that might just work. I'm glad you mentioned it.
I just had a friend from Gothenburg mention Roskilde and the lineup includes Neurosis, Moon Duo and Mats Gustafson! My girlfriend wouldn't be able make it but I may just have to go anyway!

I would be totally into that but it would depend on how bad I want to stay with my girlfriend. Let's see: Swedish metal fest, girlfriend. Swedish metal fest, girlfriend. This is a really hard decision.
If your girlfriend doesnt like metal its time to reassess where you think your life is headed...

I'm pretty indifferent on the actual band but FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE is perhaps the greatest metal band name ever.

Bought a really cheap flight to Copenhagen yesterday for the start of Roskilde.
After that,

A Tribe Called Quest, Trentemoller (heard some stuff I like, some not so much), Neurosis, Jenny Hval, High On Fire, Mats Gustafsson, Moon Duo. And that's just the stuff I'm familiar with, let alone the stuff I have never heard of, a handful of which will surely blow me away, if the normal happens.
But yeah, Foo Fighters, not a fan. Saw them once at New Orleans Jazz Fest, still not a fan. I'm sure I won't be checking out Blink 182 or G-Eazy. Saw Father John Misty at Green Man a couple years ago, didn't like.
But that's festivals for you, hit and miss.
Plus, first time in a Scandinavian country. I'm excited.

I was at Roskilde when those 9 people died at the Pearl Jam concert, and another year I don't really remember. A good deal of hash, weed and shrooms... mostly good times, some bad, as mentioned.
Be safe guys (it is usually a very safe fest).
If I were to go this year I'd be sure to catch Full of Hell and Pig Destroyer as well as the above. And Red Fang. (all yt vids on here have been jus white rectangles for me lately, but hopefully this works..)

/,+also Converge is playing a festival near me (Malakoff) this July, I might go just to see them and Refused.

Well, Justice is playing, and they're my fucking heroes. Will be my second time seeing em. Foo Fighters is just good tunes man, then for me there's Trentemøller (sold a pedal to him last year lol), The Weeknd, Lorde, A Tribe Called Quest, Moderat/Modeselektor should be a good time, Gucci Mane, Solange, Neurosis too. Then there's some acts I'm curious to see like Jagwar Ma, Pig Destroyer, Cashmere Cat and some Danish acts. Roskilde usually has a line-up about twice as big as what's announced at this moment, so I'm hoping for a few more scoops. Also I won't be drinking at all this summer, so I might actually remember the shows.
Edit: Forgot about Erasure! Alwaaaays I wannaaa bee with yooou and maake beliieve with yooou

I have a 'special' relationship with Neurosis' Souls At Zero from a beautiful summer night in 1993. Everyone has theirs, right? That one night when listening to a particular record at that particular time opens up musical insights theretofore unconsidered
And then you fuck it all up by dating women who can't listen to screamy vocals. I mean, come on girlfriend! It's grating in a GOOD way!
