i generally don't have problems like this with our normal drivers, but i had this happen too with a fill in driver. i just watched her stop at my mailbox from my porch, she took a look at my driveway for maybe 15 seconds and drive off. i hopped in my car and chased after her with the re-delivery slip and told her i was watching her the whole time. she looked pretty shook that i gave chase. my area isn't over populated so it's not like she's got an intense route. there are so many areas in my driveway for her to turn around so it's not like it would be a difficult drop off. it was a package she could've just left in my mailbox too, it took far more effort on her part to write the pink slip.

This happens 100% of the time where I life. I've opened the door to the postman trying to put a "failed delivery" slip in my letterbox. He insisted he knocked and I didn't answer, unaware I watched him enter the building and waited by the door like the manchild I am. Canada post are complete and utter garbage, the same as USPS. Even after complaining to the post office directly, their response is always something along the lines of "It was probably your fault" and nothing is ever done about it. They did this two days ago again, didn't knock, left a slip saying I was out, and then the icing on the cake of shit that I've been dealt, is the ridiculously extortionate customs fees on top of it all. :grumpy: :grumpy:

This is why I get everything delivered to work. My business is large enough that we pick up from the local post office, so it often takes an extra day to make it to my office, but it's a pretty safe bet.
