The beer that's made in Utah's a lot better than the beer that's imported into Utah. There are tighter regulations on what's imported into Utah as opposed to what's made there. The stuff that's made there's actually pretty decent for the most part. Uinta's usually a good brand

You should try brandies from this country.. then you would understand that rotgut from France is tolerable... as to why armagnac, it's the only thing trader Joes has that isn't fowl

My state imports 1/3 of all Korbel.

That said, mixed in a proper brandy old fashioned, it's quite tasty.
