I'm up for a roadtrip!frodog wrote:I'd love to be there, provided I can afford to on that given weekend. Would probably drive myself, picking someone up in Bergen should be doable if needed!
Apropos non-Norwegians - what's the deal with your Swedishness? Your last name and your celebration of Lucia are confusing me.Pete wrote:Norwegian ILF'ers:

Preliminarily mm.. if it were to be in February or March, the 3rd or 17th (that would be Fridays) in each of those months would be possible for me. Beyond that I have to think. Around the middle of May I'll have bday money so that would be ideal, plus spring, warmth, good lighting. The only thing worrying me is my cats, but I'll find someone to check in on them. The car ('97 Mazda 323) should be a-ok, except that it doesn't have too much room. Let's see what ognoy thinks/plans to carry.UglyCasanova wrote:So, how about you vestlandslefser find a weekend that works for you, and we'll see how that aligns with our schedule? Just to get the ball rolling!
It's a state of mind, man.Chankgeez wrote:If the Mystic River is close to Norway, then, yes, I think I can be considered Norwegian.Pete wrote:Norwegian ILF'ers:

Stryn is pretty close yep, I have relatives there but I guess it's a boring place to live, unless you like skiing/snowboarding/hiking. Much like here. I used to live in Oslo (and Bergen) so it would be nice to see it again.Hypnodrone wrote:Rist med raua ned på golve! I grew up in Stryn but was extracted before the svele could eat my soul.
Yeah, this was way back in the 80's, before the hipster ski thing. The options were jesus scouts, football, leikarring dancing and target shooting. I chose guns and dancing. I still suffer from that ...frodog wrote:Stryn is pretty close yep, I have relatives there but I guess it's a boring place to live, unless you like skiing/snowboarding/hiking. Much like here. Also, I'd be so much more in if the title of the thread were something like "Oslo Comedy Jam".lordgalvar wrote: It's a state of mind, man.

Btw, I consider myself more of a vestlands-svele. I'll give you a hint: Side Brok. I'm not one of them, though.
