Wow. This is so incredibly accurate.

Worst part for me: my wife didn't get invited to her friends viewing party so now I have real life drama over a show about contrived drama.

I don't dislike the show (it's clever at times TBH) but the manufactured drama and immaturity surrounding the main characters is frustrating. Rory is a lousy person and none of them ever seem to learn from their mistakes.

I really should have my wife sit through all of Cowboy Bebop or something. To balance things out.
Yeah this is my issue too. Main characters are reprehensible AND annoying. The whole rich girl thing is an added layer of bad, but then..boo boy, the dialogue. Trying so so so hard.

Probably gonna use the equity from this to play video games/synths for a while, because that is the sign of s healthy relationship.

My wife watches, knowingly, a lot of bad tv and that's usually when I get a pass to play video games or whatever.

I can't imagine why anyone would watch this shit. It's not like it's fucking Xena or something cool...:) Seriously though. Don't get it.

Cliffs notes?

I watched an episode as an assignment in a criticism class. Don't remember a thing about it beyond that.

Film criticism -- more Ebert than Godard.

Kind of an odd choice, still. Someone must have been a fan of the show.
