Great, now I need to build another kids guitar with some of these built in.

It's a shame they didn't add something else to the vibrato (some waveshaping on the LFO would have been nice) but for $50 I'll definitely be tempted...
The reverb might also be a cheap way to fix some holes in my setups too, depending on how it actually sounds (the demo is not great).

ThurberMingus wrote:They are probably better build quality Behringer pedals right? I'd be interested in the whole line of their modulations. I would rather have one of these little fuckers than any of the full sized TC pedals.
I would imagine they would be better quality than the flimsy plastic behringer uses. I'm also really glad they didn't use they're standard weird shaped enclosures. Can't stand em.

Top mount jacks and metal, you'd think people here would love this.
(I could care less what it is if it sounds good and doesn't die in a week)

That vibrato fits into my current budget of next to nothing.

After having a nice flanger that I really nice flanger that I loved but didn't find much use for, I need to gateway into effects. Like ive never had a chorus pedal, so this might be my way in

Yeah I really wish these existed when I was just being into pedals! But if you already have a [insert effect] there's probably not much point in getting one of these as well. But what do I know, maybe they sound really good.

It's more a "If there's one sound on hand that's decent and adds to what I have, worth it" calculus - another real analog delay for $50 (can't wait for used), sure!

Yeah that's pretty much it. Those would probably nice to have some type of effect around but that you don't use much. Like I do with mymodulations which are Behringer, used Boss stuff or cheap EHx stuff for the most part. Might actually sell the EHx chorus now that I have bonded with the OBNE Reflector so much, now that I think of it.

11 out of 13 are rehoused behringers. Which answers the "how do they sound" question. The vibrato is a VB-2 clone, for example.
From :
https://www.gearnews.com/tc-electronics ... -bargains/
"We talked to Tore Mogensen, the pedal designer from TC and the guy in the videos. He told us, that 11 of the 13 pedals are redesigned Behringer circuits. Rush Booster and Fangs Metal Distortion are new. They updated the circuits and different parts, added or reduced some pots (inclusive parameter ranges of them) and added true bypass switching. So it is a real cooperation between Behringer and TC Electronics. We’re looking forward to hear the upcoming comparisons."
Still interested in a couple of these...

Meh, these don't really do it for me. I'd rather spend more to get something a little more innovative and exciting. Would have been great when I was just getting into pedals and had no money though.
I'll just wait for the $25 flips to pick up the delays; I can always use more delay. And I do like DRod's idea of building some of these into guitars though...

These seem like a great addition to the cheap pedal market. It's nice to have cheap pedals that actually look half way decent.
But I must comment on how many pet peeves of mine were in that big overview demo. Using a delay while demoing the fuzz and vibrato, instead of the effects by themselves. And instead of showing us how lush the analog delay could sound, they just made spaceship oscillation noises.

They sound good but for the price I wonder how long they'll last without breaking. Wasn't TC notorious for that anyway?
But dat price. The fuzz sounds great too.
