Just a headsup: http://gameranx.com/updates/id/71490/ar ... nt-bother/
It seems as if the system and planet names are the only things that are saved into the game. If you name save points, plants, or animals, those names are only temporary and eventually get erased after a certain period of time. The argument appears to be centered around overall file size. Now individually? Saving text data has a minimal amount of storage necessary. But saving the text input of the entire player base? That adds up over time.

renaming is completely uninteresting / amusing to me at all.

Yeah I wouldn't waste time on it. Learned lesson from getting caught up in peripheral aspects/side quests early on in games. ~11 years ago.
I turned like 12 territories green in GTA San Andreas shortly after you could start gang wars...only to be betrayed by Big Smoke & Ryder as part of the linear storyline. LIke 2hrs of gameplay for nothing :whoa:

Nomansky's sounds like it should be a neighborhood bar in west Milwaukee.

*edit- more like "No Fucking Way!"*

Have not thrown money away like this in ages.
I was so excited, and then I got it. So. Fucking. Boring.
Go get some rocks so your ship can fly to the next planet full of rocks. Oh wait, nevermind, you spent 90 minutes walking around rocks to make your ship go, and as soon as you got to space a bad spaceship blew you up. DO IT AGAIN.

HEY look at this horse with six legs and a trunk! It's green, instead of brown like the six legged horned horse on the last planet! Better get some more rocks!

Destiny taught me to never preorder anything ever.
Especially if it looks exciting.
