Re: Timebender Appreciation Thread!
Was $249 initially street. I paid that and still using mine. Don't mind in the slightest, still think it was criminally cheap for what it does.
The big thing for me is I wish there was more presets.
Past that, no complaints, I abuse the hold feature regularly still.

Re: Timebender Appreciation Thread!
I jumped on the hype wagon a year or so ago after reading the countless raving reviews here. The TB got sort of a cult status it seemed, which if I'm honest might've been a part of the appeal for me. Tried really hard to like it, just because the features:price ratio is so insane, and cause the pedal looks so lame and uncool, it's actually twice as cool again...
Why I flipped mine, and went back to straight no frills analog dealy, the one single thing that ruined it for me: In most modes, especially with the tone control all the way to the 'bass' side, the volume of the repeats didn't go up to unity level, not even nearly
Not unless I had it set to '100% wet', which obviously kills the original notes. A bit of dirt in front of it made the repeats dissapear completely
A minor complaint, which isn't too uncommon on budget friendly digital delays I guess: In otherwhise identical settings, the different analog/tape modes sounded too much alike to me, especially -again- with a tiny little bit of overdrive or distortion in the chain...
I'm ridiculously picky when it comes to delay, seems I'm REALLY hard to please
They can be found for aropund 130Euro around here, which would'be been a total steal if there were an easy/cheap fix/mod for the quiet repeats. The pitch shifter alone is worth the price of admission if you're into pitch shifting, which I'm not.

Digitech has been doing a very impressive job for a while now, in my humble opinion. The Trio pedal, for example, makes me feel funny in my special place.
All the pedals...the jolly, candy-like pedals...

hold function is awesome and I use it all the time,
Have had mine for about 5-6 years I think maybe more, got it used for 100bucks!!!!!
It does all the traditional delay sounds plus gets really friggen weird,
I have a pitchfactor as well so I have never tried to make them do the same things, but I am sure you can come close

This thread is relevant to my interests.
I'm on my second after flipping the first for some dough for other stuff I wanted to try. It's pretty deep for sure but as others have mentioned not having a volume control for the repeats can be problematic.
It's a pedal that you need to spend time with to get really amazing stuff out of, but boy does it do those fantastically.
I've just put mine into the loop of a superego to pitch and arpeggiate the drone. Should be fun!

Re: Timebender Appreciation Thread!
Sometimes I hate plugging my Timebender in cause I just lose an hour or two fucking with all of the settings. Pedal does far too much.
I still haven't found the allen screw size to open this thing up and install a simple boost circuit on it.

I was chatting to him about how great it is and mentioned I'd sold mine. I believe his response was something along the lines of "what the fuck is wrong with you?"D.o.S. wrote:Got to listen to Brands make magic with his. Pedal seems worth the hype.
He makes really good use of it.

I'm going to be performing a battle set at the end of this month with a cybergrind band. My setup will just be drum machine, bass station ii, timebender, particle. Rhythmic Noise bullshit.
