My shaums have lasted 6 years so far. Generally a good pair of shoes or boots should last you 5 years minimum if constantly worn. And that is just considering the soles, which can be redone in virtually all goodyear/blake/storm welted footwear.

That sort of looks like the floor of my apt, Chank, but alas it is not. Nor do I actually have sandal-colored socks to wear with my sandals, although I do have some marcus garvey socks, because cultural appropriation shouldn't just be for hip teenagers.


Yeah I have some bean boots that I've had for like 7 or 8 years that haven't shown much signs of degradation yet.

Double also I'm definitely looking into some sandals because I've just had to repair mine and even though I strongly believe in the power of Gorilla Glue some things just aren't meant to last.
