That's not a good demo, his clean tone is hella coloring the pedal by virtue of being hella distorted already (and shitty).

Also lol at the badly played Dream Theater riffs, from one of their worst songs nonetheless.

No, you don't understand, this one is pointedly them trying to be hevymetulz and hilariously failing.

https://youtu.be/_ZusDzbBrRY link because mobile sucks.

Edit: except the ragtime jam in the solo, I'm always ready for some mid song ragtime.

Yeah, it's not anywhere near a good demo. It's a start though. It's also much better quality (production-wise) than when Stone Deaf first attempted demos.

I could not identify that riff, but it was pretty grating throughout the entire demo.

I'm definitely gonna wait to hear some other people's demos, but, I can already tell, the pedal itself still sounds pretty good. :snax:

Honestly, even though I was super enthusiastic about all the Stone Deaf stuff when they first showed it off at NAMM (plus their relative rebranding thanks to Mcbess), I've been really disappointed by their marketing/demos.

Well, as I've said, their demos lately are a shit ton better than when they first attempted 'em. :idk:

I think I've heard what I need to hear though and'll hopefully be grabbing a Warp Drive sometime this year. :snax:

Yeah, while I definitely view the demos as lacking, they don't detract from the allure of the pedals themselves.

Their ugly graphics turn me off more than the demos, which have been hard to find or shit quality. But they're getting better? :idk:

Mcbess's graphics are a huge draw for me, actually.
I wasn't so hot on the original ones.

I can take or leave the graphics on these, but my GAS is not abating either way. :snax:

Reverb is starting to upload video overviews for the new stone deaf pedals, so warp drive should come soon. :snax:

The fact that they keep using JHS pedals as comparisons makes me question whether they have a single clue who their consumer base is.
Then again, who the fuck is their consumer base, anyway?

Also, why did they keep changing the captions?
Did they hire some kid in high school with Microsoft Movie Maker to edit their videos?

Yes. No. Maybe.

I don't know who their intended market is. You don't know who their intended market is. Not sure they know who their intended market is either. :snax:

 Like I keep saying though, their videos are much better than they used to be.
