seeee that's the problem. i can remember one scene (at least parts of it) distinctly, the rest of the movie is a blank.

i think sci fi action, post barely discussed apocalypse, the feel of limited or Top One Percent Hoarded resources, main character is female, works in a psi-hunting division of an Orwellian level police force, mebbe some lasers, but i think more realistic projectile based weaponry, cops have uncaring huge mechs that scan areas and people for psi powers, one of them in that scene tries to murder a baby, that makes the main character chickadee (who MIGHT have latent powers her self) fight the cops and defect to protect the baybay.

i THINK the bebe floats around during that scene?

heh. for quality....... it wasn't intentionally horrible, but pretty generic overall. probably in the 6 out of 10 Fat Horns range?

I saw Elysium for the first time the other night. It wasn't totally awful, but I was watching it with my brain off so I didn't pick at it too hard.
Was no district 9, and Jodie Foster is shit at accents, but it had a cool premise that could have been executed with more efficiency.
If it was a short price, like 45 mins, no faff, it would've killed it.
Psychic babies would have made it.
