Was he using an assmaster there? There were a few moments where I was like, this sound would be fucking sick, if it wasn't playing this shitty rendition of a shitty song. When he started doing trills at the end ot the first line I wasnted to scream.
I can't say 100% but I know he uses one and it sounds like it to my ears.

Better than the original...
But really, the US national anthem is pretty meh IMO. Norwegian one is boring too, so no need to get back at me. India's is pretty nice.

All I could think of was how that's probably how we all sound playing bass through similar setups, but none of us have the luxury of sounding so terrible in front of so many people at once

Agreed that the American anthem is pretty fucking bad.
Even though I spent my entire childhood being inundated with propaganda telling me that the Soviet Union was fucking evil, they did have a kickass fucking anthem. I think Russia kept the music and just changed the words, which is fine with me since I don't speak Russian. But it has a hell of a melody.
