They are good for like two seconds then turn into sloppy syrupy garbage.
Waffles are much better because the way they are cooked hardens the outside to protect longer against the syrup. So if you're going to eat pancakes, just eat waffles. Unless you suck at the waffle maker. Then don't eat. And die.

WAFFLES UBER ALLES!!!
Waffles will for ever remain so much better than pancakes. Even now when I make pancakes they are closer to crepes (just less sweet); thin and crispy. I can't stand cakey pancakes at all.

I don't generally like pancakes, but when I'm in diet mode, I'd murder an entire village of people for them.
