When I get to pick my seats I always go for the window seat closest to the front because I like to zone out on the scenery and then to get the fuck off the plane as soon as possible.

I fly a lot. I always sleep on flights regardless of length
Long haul, anyting with extra legroom is god to me. Second best is a seat with noone in the next one. Im 6foot 4 high
short haul, any window. in fact I prefer window in general as I sleep it provides the leans.

worst seat hell is middle of 2 big dudes sprawling on you. eurgh

+1 but not the front row. front row and last row are the WORST.

define long though... i can't remember if my longest flight was to france or hawaii...

Why are they the worst?

I love flying, especially the take off and turbulence, to give you that feel of speed.

An aisle seat as far away from children as possible, and preferably away from those people who you can tell are going to be fucking annoying.

This fucking cunt was in the seat in front of me on both my flight to and from Europe last year. Her kid screamed for about 3 hours, fell asleep for ~1 hour, and then screamed the rest of the flight. She didn't do anything about it, faked throwing up so she could pass the kid off to the crew to take care of, and use the first class bathroom.

Dude that sucks, I had a kid in front of me that was throwing his arm over the back of the seat and swinging it around no clue why,

Most of the people were pretty chill tho.

Slept 10 hours of the 16 (Thank you Drugs!!!!)

Oh the other thing I figured out is how to lift the arm rest on the outside seat so I could spread out a bit, was a good time.

To be fair, now that I have a kid and have flown with him, sometimes there just isn't fucking shit you can do about it. My son was awestruck and thought flying was the most fun in the world for the first hour or so. Then he got bored. And when little kids get bored, sometimes they get disruptive. Usually if we're out in public and my son misbehaves I can get him to calm down or distract him, but every now and then, it's just not happening and we leave. But there's fucking nowhere to go when you're on a plane. You can say "well, learn to control your kid". Sure, and 99% of the time, I do. But sometimes he just decides "I'm going to be a defiant ass today" and there's a limit to being able to actually force your kid to behave when you can't physically remove them from a situation.

Do you guys not have headphones in for the entire duration of the flight? Kind of makes screaming kids a non-issue for me :idk:

yeah I have some major headphones, I don't hear a thing it wouldn't matter how many kids were screaming.

My wife has asked me not to wear them at home when I need to get some work done and the kids are nuts

front row there isn't a seat in front of you to put your carry on, last row you can't put your seat back.

for real though I flew cathay business class from melbourne to hong kong a few months ago and it's spoiled me for travelling up the back of the plane like a poor basically forever.
