But I mean to answer the question, I kind of think I would? Like, most people already make some pretty heavy sacrifices for the loved ones in their lives, and this is kind of a grossly visceral elaboration on that, no?

I think the most important question here is what would happen if the goat died. They only live like 15yrs or so maximum, right? Does your relationship die with the goat? Do you continue using the corpse? Do you have to find a new partner with a new goat every time one dies, living out the rest of your life knowing that at any moment you might have to say goodbye?
I don't think I could deal with the stress, tbh.

whoever arranged the deal swaps out with a new goat. Whether or not you notice is up to you. The goat(s) suffers no measurable decline in quality of life from the arrangement.

When we make love, do I have to finish? Does the goat have to finish?
Does the relationship with the goat have to be purely sexual? Can I take the goat out for smoothies, or play skee-ball, or maybe to a petting zoo?
There's way too many variables to give you a definite answer!

if you want to dodge the essential hyopthetical, sure: come up with details however you want.
You have to finish. The goat would, ideally, finish as well -- that's only polite.
How you engage with the goat beyond what's required is between you and the goat.

Ok, fine. I'm in. I've left some messages at the local goat cheese farm. I don't know how I'm gonna explain this to my special gal.
You know, when I find her...

well at least all my misgivings about the use of goats used in imagery for doom and black metal was correct, I knew that in the end this would be the result. thankfully though I feel only a small part of people disposed to like metal will fall victim to goat loving in the same way that we know rap and video gaming does not create violence and liking slayer [possibly] does not turn people to worshipping the devil.. still let this be a lesson to you all, if you start to have these types or urges you might want to get some group counselling.
