I loved all that fuji digital stuff, but my life changed when I got the Sony a7R. As a guy who cares mostly about still-life and things that don't move, that kind of resolution in a body that I can throw in my backpack is insane.

dude the a7RII and SII are insane cameras. but they are expensive and big (ish). For street stuff and portraits, i love the Fuji X series stuff. Just picked up an XE2 with a 27mm f/1.8 and 18-55mm f/1.8 and i dont think i need anything else. maybe the 35 f/1.2 for 50mm equivalent stuff but, with the 27mm and 18-55 i probably overlap that area plenty.

My kit consists of a Fuji X-T1, V-Grip, XF 27 , XF 55-200, XF 18-55, an old Helios 58 f2, 3 Cactus RF60 strobes and a V6 transceiver. Also have various gels grids and what not to modify the strobes.

I also work at a studio which is pretty sweet. I get to play around with the new 100mp Phase One system in a few weeks.

I haven't shot bands in forever. My last shoot with with my friend's noise/industrial project.
