This.
And try to pay down more of my student loans so that I can be a free man when I'm done with my master thesis.
Apart from that I'm pretty much perfect, and intend to keep up my perfection. :!!!:

1. Buy less pedals or start selling the ones I don't use (Seppuku's excluded, of course)

2. Do more social stuff with the misses. This year was too school-focused (basically just sitting across from each other and studying)

3. Play more live gigs

i clipped all my hair off a few weeks ago and i've resolved to let it grow out without being cut for all of next year, and possibly longer. i waste way too much time cutting it to maintain a specific style, so fuck that.

this year i managed to do really well at severely cutting down on material possessions and making do with the gear i have, so i'd like to leave things how they are next year and not fall back into unhealthy spending habits.

otherwise i'd just like to learn as much as possible; reading, studying, meditation and introspection. my attention span is horrifically short nowadays and although there's arguably more important mental and physical health issues i should be focusing on i feel like that's more important to me :idk:

Become halfway decent at Japanese before going to Japan.

Actually get back to the gym.

Try to only spend a few thousand on modular (least likely).

I'm in this boat as well. It's really hard because my main band is all dudes in their mid to late 20s who are getting life figured out. Drummer is looking to move to Seattle. Bassist bought a house. Other guitarist has a good gig at the hospital with limited time off. I know we can't quit our lives to try to "make it" with our shoegaze band, but I'd like to at least get out of Fargo for a few days. And we need to record. Those are my only two real goals in this band.

I also just started jamming with a bass player who has a bigger pedalboard that me :excellent:
Really technical, almost proggy stuff, but with more than enough ambient/noisey elements. I'm really excited to see where that goes!

Goroth look me up of you ever make it this way! I'd love to play a show with you!

I'm just gonna try to be less sad, or maybe the same amount of sad with more fuzzy catharsis. Either would be cool.

1. Make more money than I do now. In a bit of a bind with my job, and looking to transfer. This could happen before 2016 as well.

2. Finally start my life with said increased income.

3. stress less. I stress out a lot.

4. Play more feckin' shows. 2016 could be a huge year, and although I don't think my band in our mid 20's is going to go anywhere, especially with jobs and responsibilities, I want to play some out of state shows.

5. I already quit smoking, now I need to severely cut back on the booze. I drink too much, that's a fact. Yeah, I'm in my early-mid 20's and partying is fun - I just don't want to get out of control.

6. Pedge. Least likely.

1. Get started as a freelance grant writer.
2. Start putting some money into savings.
3. Eat marginally better.

So that's cool.
Congrats! I've just started, unrelated to new year (so there's probably a chance I'll keep at it! ) but still

1. Keep up not eating meat

2. Be more conscientious in general about what I buy

3. Try not to be so obsessed with possessions

4. Record a lot more, it's been a weak year for that...

5. Travel more!

I plan to get "what is wrong with you?" asked of me at a greater amount or at least without a decline there of in the next year.
To be even more moody.
To continue making music I find interesting.
To exercise more... :grumpy:
To drink more.

:hello:
