if you get a PS4 get a second controller right away. one thing that sucks is their power time. they only last a little short of four hours of use then have to be recharged.

aside from that the sys is awesome IMO.

4 hours? That's pretty terrible. I go back and forth about which I'd rather have. I've always liked the Sony exclusives, but if I get an Xbox One, I can do the family share thing with my brother in law, who is a manchild and buys sooooo many games.

yeah. thus far the only two things that have sucked for me is the controller's battery time (wish it just had freaking AAs) and the two small buttons next to the touchpad. they should stick out much more. annoying.

aside from that, they system's awesome. but, i haven't had a playstation since PS2. been back & forth. xbox & PS2, 360, PS4...

I was a die hard Playstation nerd since PS1. Got 1, 2, and 3 around launch and never bothered with the other systems until Xbox 360 so I could play Dead Rising. I ended up playing my 360 way more than my PS3, so who knows what I will do. I imagine price and/or available bundles at the time will determine which system I go for.

Either way, I'll be sitting here until then, being ultra jelly of you assholes and your wasteland base building fun.

I was and am still so bummed they region locked the pip boy pack from me.
Had to settle for a Vault Tec lunchbox edition.
It's alright, I got a bobble head.

Honestly, though. Fuck the ghoul reavers.
I'm running the fuck out of ammo because of those shitbags.
Don't they move fast....
Rick Grimesing them with a machete is good fun though.

agreed, the reavers are rougher in this one. have you run into a glow reaver yet? it took SHITloads of ammo to kill that thing, and it was even stuck on a tiny little island (they apparently won't get into water...).

i was AOK on ammo until i ran into those and into Salem full of nastier versions of mirelurks.
i kinda still hate the brotherhood of steel but you can get ammo through them.

I got attacked by a Yao Gui and then as soon as I dispatched it's ass, I got assailed to fuck by a mirelurk hunter.
Fuck them too.

I think the only complaint I have with this game is recycled songs on the radio.

Like seriously, I don't want to hear bingo bango bongo in the Congo anymore. It was funny and cute the first couple thousand times I heard it, which would have been around 50% of my first FO3 playthrough.

Could have at least given me some more Texas Red. Assholes.

Also, more Daring Dashwood adventures. Less bingo bango more dashwood plz.

Other than that, this game is the tits. I guess its retconned some of the lore, but that doesn't bother me TOO bad cuz I've been inside a vagine before, y'know?

i've dealt with a few deathclaws (in addition to the easy one at the beginning) but haven't even run into a yao gui yet. i think every type of mirelurk though since they get dispatched in this salem scenario i can't get through.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed they didn't dig up anymore golden oldies.

As far retconning, they've done ok. It's kinda like they can get away with it because each game takes place in a different region in a roughly differentr period of time, so there's bound to be fragmented stories and things not quite right.
Overall, the story fits about right.
Plus the introduction of the institute shakes things up.

Yeah, I don't think mirelurks have ever sucked so hard.

Fuck I got holed up clearing out a nest of Supermutants on one of these early BoS missions. Though there were only a few but there probably near ten. They shot me to shit, but I out-sniped their dumb asses.
Thank fuck I invested in sneaking and shadow armour early on, and found that chamelion piece. Need to find the rest of that kit.

also haven't run into a supermutant yet... buddy told me things are rougher once you head south so i've stuck to the north thus far...
