You guys are awesome, and I will most certainly be contributing.

So, I've sent a message to a friend of his asking if his family may potentially appreciate the assistance or if there's any organization that is relevant to his own experiences which we could make a donation to. I didn't want to pry too much as i'm sure there are many specifics to the situation which we aren't aware of, but if there's a place where our support can help in line with our friends' wishes then we should do whatever we can.
I'll let you know when I get a reply so hold tight, if I can't ascertain anything anything on that end, I think that we should collectively decide on a suicide prevention organization to support, or split between those in our own areas or something.

Let me know when the raffle is, I'll buy in for sure.

Alright guys, i've been informed that his parents have said that beyondblue is the charity they're supporting and they really appreciate our response. They've been linked to the forum.
beyondblue is an Australian organization that supports people with anxiety or depression and aims to break down the barriers that prevent people from speaking up and reaching out. you can find out more their website: https://www.beyondblue.org.au/
So that would probably be the most appropriate place to send any donations.

Easiest way to do it is perhaps to donate directly, minimum $20 donation. Send a receipt or whatever to Terminal and then he can generate a random number to draw the winner. Terminal if you have too much on your plate I'm happy to coordinate or co-coordinate.

^ probably the way to go, yeah. needa try and minimise any fees incurred in the process.
potentially start a tribute page or if not there's a link there which allows paypal donations, if you're in Australia it's possible to bank transfer directly via the main site too.
