I have a guilty spot for the song Lover I Don't Have to Love, but otherwise, bleh. Saddle Creek Records was pretty big with my "circles" in high school. I still love Cursive's Ugly Organ and The Faint are still one of my top favorite bands of all time forever.

But yeah, Bright Eyes (and Neutral Milk Hotel) are directly responsible for the recent wave of indie-folk Mumford and Shits type doodies.

Some times you guys come together and really remind me why i came back to this board.

A friend of mine was just telling me a couple months ago about her friend that fucked Conor Oberst ten years or so ago. The funny part was that she was married and my friend felt really awkward about it when she was around the girls husband until the husband started proudly telling everyone that his wife fucked Conor Oberst.

I'll be that guy. I saw Connor oberst last month when he came through. 95% just because the mrs really wanted to go. I did like bright eyes in high school, but I was expecting the show to be like a 2/10. I haven't listened to him once since high school. Then he got up and was pretty dang decent. I'd give the show a solid 6/10. It was decent. He was funny.
