Any issue so far guys? Am I going to need to put a buffer in there if I get one?

No issues here. Can't comment on the buffer because I'm not a nerd. :p

Keep your cable runs short between your effects and the patchbay and you shouldn't need the buffer (ie. put effects near it, not across the room). One of the cool things about this patchbay too is that you can bypass any of the send-returns just by not patching it. Basically you could bypass all but one pedal if you like, and the distance the signal travels is greatly reduced with just a quick patch.

I just read this on the FAQ:
"This is useful in that you would not want to send an affect to itself, which may cause runaway feedback within certain devices."
And I'm like, does this guy even know us at all?

Wait, so my hopes of 8 feedback loops in a row are crushed?

Ha, I'm not sure you'd be able to hear anything anyway, with the effect patched into itself.

I'm interested in this thing! I also feel like I'd be a total noob with it. But isn't being a noob my MO? LOL

Still nothing bad to report. Definitely a really great alternative to reordering things the old fashioned way, especially for quick signal changes.

Yep, I'm still getting on with mine, just fine, too.

I love this thing.

Should be a failry easy DIY build as well right? It's pretty much A -> B between the inputs and outputs right?

Yes, it is our first "mini-patching" product we began selling recently while we work on the next product, which all I can say right now is that it works alongside this one very well.

We do build these very professionally and have tried to get the price as low as possible, considering it does take some time to build them well. Setting up the proper drilling jig for 32 properly aligned holes, getting all the jacks, leads and heat-shrink ready and installed takes some time for sure, not to mention screen printing the graphic which uses even more "brain power".

Just in case anyone wants any ideas as to how to integrate something like this into your rig, check out the attached User Guide (p.2).
Thanks! -Adam

That manual is lovely. Man, now I REALLY want one.

I this is perfect for building my everlasting "looper before or after reverb" issues.

Great manual! Love when someone takes the time to put one together.
