Drug withdrawal was Stojcevski's official cause of death; WDIV says that before he was jailed, he was taking prescription Methadone, Xanax, and Klonopin to help treat drug addiction.

Macomb County authorities told the station that the lawsuit subsequently filed by Stojcevski's family has no merit and that they will not pay to settle it.

“now...” his company’s pr dept are kicking pricing details into the long grass until the north american public are distracted by something else (probably the election) after which they can get back to their inhumane business as usual. and unfortunately this morally-bankrupt ruthless-profiteering-from-others-suffering is ‘business as usual’ in the US. standard practice which has been going on for a long time and will probably continue to do so, in the absence of meaningful protest against.

you may be aware that north american, european and canadian corporations and politicians are currently meeting in secret (so much for democracy) to formulate the terms and conditions of a transatlantic trade agreement to be called the TTIP in Europe (including ISDS, which is another toxic part of it) and CETA in canada.

the resolutions and reforms being proposed within it are a massive threat to the way european and canadian society is currently overseen and regulated at a national and international level (in particular healthcare, education and environmental issues).
consider informing yourself about TTIP as soon as possible making a positive decision about what you can do to make your opinion on the issue count.

the ‘stop the TTIP’ campaign (three million strong and rising) is organising all kinds of protests, demonstrations and petitioning at national and international level.
