I've always wanted to see a head cabinet break under the weight of a speaker cab on top of it. I'd imagine it would look something like a controlled demolition as the top cab splinters the head cab of the amp underneath it followed by turning the tubes into dust, flattening the caps, and lastly crushing the transformers down into the chassis before toppling over.

I have 2 cabs and 3 heads (1 is a pwr amp), so I put one of those on the floor. The 3 amps stacked is an accident waiting to happen. Never had problem with vibrating though.

always on the floor and isolated from floor vibrations as best as possible depending on circumstances.

me putting that 5150 on top of the already 3 high stack on the 612... oh god I was like.. I hope I texted someone recently so they know where I'm at.

Heads on racks, then floor, then cabs; in order of preference.
Auralex monitor isolation pads are useful too. Everything sounds more articulate and dynamic with good isolation.

On cabs, on the floor, on the custom shelf I have in the band room,.....my band room is a mess lol
