jwar would give up body building before he ever even thought of etching a Toneczar.

He's right you know.
The thing is if I etched a Toneczar, it would look cool right? BUT! It would literally destroy the value. I'm talking, I might as well get rid it by giving it away. No one would buy it.
Now if I had an extra one? Maybe I'd consider it. But I don't.

Whenever I get the money I'm getting Jwar to etch the NERV symbol on my Kompakt Kassette.
Also I'm singing for this.

How about this.
You guys buy me a Toneczar pedal and I'll etch it and keep it.

Can you not etch a new enclosure and rehouse???

Too risky dude. Ed locks that shit down tight. These suckers are so expensive I don't even want to attempt it. If you open one up, if you get a chance, you'd understand why. LOL.
Plus he uses some kind of shit to lock the nuts in place on the pots and stomps. So I'd have to potentially fuck them up to get it apart.
I mean, I'm fine with the way they look. It doesn't bother me!

I'll never get the chance. Would love to break one.

You mean you'd love to trace one or literally break it? LOL
I'd love to be able to commit to etching one. It's just not going to happen unless I get a duplicate one. They are too freaking expensive.
Like for instance, I'm on the list for a new Openhaus. Now I could etch and keep my old one or sell it and recoup all the price of the new one? It makes more sense to sell the old one right? As much as I'd love to keep it, it wouldn't make sense.
The Vault on the other hand is almost one of a kind because it's such a low number and the newer ones sound different. Less low end. Don't worry Excane can fill you in, he has both.
At 500 bucks for a pedal, it's just not feasible.
Now I did do it to a Metasonix pedal...so I'm kind of being a hypocrite in a way. lol

I was being an ass, don't listen to me

Based on the guts I've seen, and the fact that the man himself at some point will need to repair one of his builds...I doubt it could really be that hard to pull apart. Though I understand the hesitation, 100%. And no, I would not like to trace one of these.
