My wife has been into Team ICO since the beginning. For years, what she's cared most about seeing from E3 was The Last Guardian. Long ago, I told her to give up, it was never gonna happen. Today she rejoices. Unfortunately, we decided to skip the PS4. The only other game I'm really interested in is the upcoming Legend of Zelda. I'm hoping it will be on the NX. However, it is probably crazy to buy two separate consoles just for two games...

They're going to ruin it. Theres no question. It won't be turn based. How can you have an almighty attack like bahamut zero or knights of the round if its not turn based?
They're going to take out all the don corneo and costa del sol stuff. They're going to turn it into fucking dark souls. Like XIV I'm sorry but i don't want to jump around and dodge and shit. I want to stand there all statuesque and shrug off your attack then summon ifrit to fucking rape the shades of your ancestors. Or doom train. Doom train. Its going to be awful but its still exciting.

I didn't know that - I've only watched the trailer. This does not bode well, IMO. The last FF I played was XII, which I never finished and found kind of boring. The last 'good' one was IX - I will take my jrps turn based and full of crazy spells and summons, please and thanks.

Regardless, I know that I will buy it and play it. That won't stop me from complaining about it. I ARE GAMER.

I mean thats just my opinion..... thats the way the game industry is going. And look at episode duscae. I for one think its a mess. I don't want every single game i play to be an action game.
I can just see them saying "for this to be profitable, we need to take the core ff7 story and introduce it to a wider audience.... by fundamentally destroying everything that made it the game it was.
