i just feel like it's trying to get from point A to point B, use some between the two, get killed and don't make it to B, go back to point A and now you don't have them anymore. look at games like fallout & elder scrolls, start off at point A, find something, get killed, reload point A and what you found is still gonna be where you found it.

Okay, sure, but you're framing it against games that it very much is not. That's just not how Souls games work. You don't load a save when you die. Just one of the many idiosyncrasies of the Souls games.

yeah, this is the first of the souls games for me, so others are what i have for comparison. i'm one of those guys who saves his games very frequently too... :facepalm:
