I've been through more jobs in the past two years than I ever would have imagined at this point in my life due to layoffs, dissatisfaction in the extreme and other just plain nonsense. It fucking sucks and is pretty disheartening. I'm doing some weird shit right now. Driving a cab at night and picking up carpentry side jobs. Plus some other random shit. Whatever I can do. It's certainly not what I would have imagined for myself when I was younger, but I'm actually pretty happy in the moment and I'm getting by. Whatever happens, keep your head up. It'll work out. Sometimes getting fired is awesome. Like when you realize afterwards how much you hated the place and feel free.

Oh i definitely hated the place. And I'm glad to be rid of it. Im like you in a sense that I've been through a lot of jobs over the past decade...mostly due to the fact that i was always going to school when i had them. It hurts me in the sense that I'm young and inexperienced and it looks reeeeeally shitty on a resume.

Oh well. I guess monday i'll apply for unemployment and start looking for something else. Thanks for all the well wishes guys.

I hope you retain your job. But if not, you should totally drop a big steamy grunt sculpture on your boss' desk before you leave.
I second this motion. Motion is very appropriate in this case.
Edit: just got to the end of the thread. Sorry to hear they fucked you over dude. Good luck with your job search efforts. :thumb:
