the Norwegian postal service is fast because the place is a barren icy rock, the culture revolves around curing fish and growing beards, and you can only tell the men and women apart for two weeks of the year when they are able to take their snowsuits off and not die of hypothermia. hence they are generally bored as fuck and end up sorting mail just to keep warm.

Only place I ever had any troubles sending something was Spain. Sent a fret saw (when I was "attempting" to build my own bass ) to a guy, it took a month and a half. He was used to it and had no qualms about it, but I was panicking the whole time. He got it, emailed me that all was good and in order, and thanks for the fast shipping! He was completely serious too.
