the only time i like certain bass synth pedals is when using them on guitar to make glitchy computer garble noises. using them for the intended function is usually disappointing.

The best bass guitar "synth bass" set-up I ever had was 3 MoogerFoogers , the Moog MP-201 (for that CV control), an Infanem SVD, Modfactor and PitchFactor.
It was gnarly but had a lot of movement, so good.
