Truth, the Chase Bliss Gravitas, Warped Vinyl and Wombtone come to mind as great examples of the incredible possibilities that are within.

The Chinese figured out how to make good pedals. See Mooer and Joyo as examples.

"since you've been gone", the Chinese figured out how to make true-bypass clones of all the good famous pedals that don't suck. Mooer, Joyo, some others are all in this game, which is great for the bread-and-butter tones. Things like the FZ1 SPIN processor and ardiuno are making guitar pedals start to really come alive.
I would love to see a version of the Z-DSP from eurorack as a pedal.

z dsp is just the spin chip so you can get a lot of cross over with bit quest and other spin chip based pedals

On the Console. Roy from Greenhouse Effects is releasing a similar idea, and actually it's already out in a smaller format. It's his self titled pedal. It's literally called Self Titled. LOL. The first version you can change out the guts for any of the 5 or 6 different modular effects he has. They are 50 a piece. The Self Titled 2 will have four I believe that can be stacked. So you can have four delays, or 3 delays and a fuzz, an overdrive, fuzz, trem, and something else. Whatever. It's a very similar idea just made practical and actually working! LOL
