Are these contacts or what? I'm prone to disbelieve the reptile conspiracy but I admit this is weird as fk.
A lot more examples out there of the eye-shifting but most of the time it's light shenanigans.

What are they talking about frenchees? I'd like to know. Seems like some sort of prank.

I don't have a snarky image to post but I will say this in regards to all conspiracy theories: If you read about them, I can't recommend highly enough that you go do some reading about cognitive neuroscience. Especially any of the books about why people believe in paranormal ideas, or how magicians rely on perceptual traps to create their illusions. Now, if there is a book out there explaining, in an up-to-date, researched, scientific manner, how the government or whoever is using things like perceptual/belief traps to control the populace, then I'll give it another look.

The reptilian/shapeshifter/hybrid/whatever theory is one of the most ridiculous ones in my humble opinion, but at least it's also mostly harmless.

Couldn't agree more.

Then again, as I take everything with a grain of salt, I take science as well. A lot of conclusions were made based on a limited point of view. Your logic is limited by your past experience. (The logic of a nazi is completely sound.. inside the framework of his belief systems. Same works for scientists. Unless they meditate I don't buy their conclusions 100%, especially when it comes to psychology.)

We have India and Siddhis, we have Wim Hof running the Arctic marathon in boxer shorts, having severe frostbites/dead tissue and reviving it through the next few weeks via meditating (scientifically documented); we have Dynamo of all things..
It's not magic, it's not paranormal; it's just outside of our usual perception. The domain of super-natural is invalid in nature by itself, and last I checked, all is nature.
The scientific method is god-given, but scientists are still human and make errors.

And since this reality is quantum in nature, why couldn't a superconscious individual navigate through 2 possible outcomes in the same time to make it appear as if he is doing something "magical"? Idk.. none of us here have been through all the intense meditation disciplines to be silent enough to hear the infinitesimal differences of moments passing.. who knows what else escapes our direct perception?

There are scientists who meditate. Look up Dr. John Hagelin on youtube.

This might be a tangent in this thread, but here goes: I'm very interested in mythology and consciousness, meditation, etc.... although I am terrible at actually sitting down to meditate. The closest I come is playing noise/drone and completely losing track of my surroundings. The reason I look to these things, in conjunction with things like neuroscience, and occasionally quantum physics, etc... is that there is no way that everything they point towards, have evidence for, and in the case of mythology, serve as metaphors for could possibly be wrong. The key word here is "transcendence." We have transcendental meditation, mythology points towards the transcendent, and the more you look at what makes you an individual, the more you realize that your "self" is pretty elusive. The key phrase is "no thing can define itself by itself alone." All things need another point of reference, and most things we interact with as humans need many points of reference. The transcendent is the point by itself. Not two, three,, or more points, but a point of non-duality. I could go on and on and on.....

Anyways. The universe/multiverse is quantum in nature, but anyone who's done much reading on it will tell you that even though, on an infinite timeline, everything WILL happen, that timeline is so incredibly long that all these "theories" of things like reptilian shapeshifters and such are 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999 impossible.

I could go on about perception, but beyond what I've already written in regards to conspiracy theories, that's stuff for another thread.

Damn, I have no idea how you a)knew of that clip and b) knew the English translation for the band name (I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, you're not Icelandic). But that was one awesome performance right there. Glad you posted it duder :!!!:

Sorry, goroth, missed that post.

Yeah, those guys were contemporaries of The Sugarcubes. (I think they were every bit as good of a band too.) I'm not Icelandic, but I'm a fan of Icelandic bands. There's a great comp of Icelandic bands called World Domination Or Death. Worth checking out if you come across it. You're quite welcome.

… and I now came here to post this:
