Makes sense. And that fits with how lots of people use volume pedals. After all your dirt and stuff that makes the gain huge.kbithecrowing wrote:neonblack wrote:Maybe put a volume pedal right before it and use it like an expression pedal?PeteeBee wrote:That did sound really sweet, but this seems so hard to use in your rig. I don't have any other pedals that I have to be that conscious of how hot the signal is coming into them. I guess as long as you put it first in your chain it's easy...then you could still have other stuff in you chain before and still get the tremolo goodness.
Nice...I think I'm going to grab one of these. Thanks for the heads upUgly Nora wrote:Pigtronix Tremvelope.Uncle Grandfather wrote:Anyone know of any other envelope controlled tremolo, I think that's pretty badass. I know the LAL ripplet does it.
Now that I've seen it, I take my comment back.kbithecrowing wrote:Not really, I don't think the gristleizer trem speed is affected by the instrument's volume knob is it?Jero wrote:Haven't watched the demo yet but I was under the impression it was gristleizer esque
I get that from the Boss GT-001/100.Uncle Grandfather wrote:Anyone know of any other envelope controlled tremolo, I think that's pretty badass. I know the LAL ripplet does it.
Howard's a great player for sure, and yeah he has a hand in the circuit design.misterstomach wrote:i've gotta say, i'm impressed. that tremolo thing it does is really cool. good job to them for coming up with something new and interesting. i've never seen anything you can compare it to. that dude who does their demos, and i think designs some of the circuits, is such a killer guitar player. i like watching him play. i won't end u pwith one of these, as they seem aimed at people who are more talented than me and/or who play more interesting innovative music. but i do appreciate it. and that reverb sounds good too. i might look into that.
Heck ya. Been kinda looking for one for years since I first chickened out on getting the ripplet. Might try this CB pedal out too.Ugly Nora wrote:Sweet. Would love to see a demo. It is something I was always interested in but then I remember I don't need any more tremolos. Maybe a good UG style demo will give me gas.
I'm expecting my Pigtronix Tremvelope today! I'll see what I can put together with the Koma, thats a great idea.lordgalvar wrote:Heck ya. UG, I am sure you have a pedal with cv env out to control the gate on your koma bd 101. Demo!
For the record, no, it isn't.kbithecrowing wrote:Not really, I don't think the gristleizer trem speed is affected by the instrument's volume knob is it?Jero wrote:Haven't watched the demo yet but I was under the impression it was gristleizer esque
