I have an ooold bayonet that came with my Mosin-Nagant but it's really more of a giant, vicious screwdriver than a blade :idk:
I made a railroad spike knife a few years ago, it's around here somewhere I'll post a pic if i can find it. It's cool in a "ooh i can tell what that's made out of kinda way" and I think that's kinda the only reason why spike knives are a "thing".

I've got a couple of those mosin bayonets too.

My take everywhere pocket knife is a kershaw leek, which is like the perfect knife for me. Fast open, comfy, cheap enough I won't be pissed when I inevitably lose it, comes sharp, stays sharp, and easy to sharpen, and not serrated (I hate serrated.) Plus it comes in colors! When eventually lose this one i'm gonna spring for the crazy rainbow one.

I have some real nasty fuckers. Bayonets, daggers, military combat knives, an awesome Italian made assisted opening knife with a satin blade and rubber combat grips. I've had them for years. Now they are all very illegal here. Been on the hunt for more bayonets and military knives especially WW1 trench knives, but they are getting almost impossible to get here now with our weapons laws. So yeah! I love knives.

I've owned a few automatic knives over the ears but I always seem to give them away. I had a bone-handled Inox classic switchblade, an identical black-scaled one, a full auto (in and out) stilletto (still not sure how the fuck I got my hands on one of those) and a cheapo folding tanto with a hidden button under the rubber grip. Kinda wish I still had the bone Inox.

this thread is fucking terrifying.

I have an old Gurkha blade kicking around somewhere. Bit of 'inheritance', or 'old thing that used to belong to a now-dead relative,' depending on how you look at it. It looks cool.

I should really get a nice knife. Preferably for cooking.

I've got a handful, but I see them as tools (sometimes 'toys') :idk:
Liking the kershaw and becker lover going on thus far. Surprised there aren't more posts like cloudscapes though.

I'd get nicer cooking knives, but my housemates would wreck 'em. They've already wrecked my $40 Victorinox chef's knife. No point in getting anything else. I packed my kitchen knives up and put 'em away.

My favorite is this guy. My dad had it forever, I'm not sure when he got it. It's some kind of WWII knife, I think. Unless one of you can make out what it is by the engraving on the blade?

It's not super pretty but it's perfectly balanced and sharp as fuck.

Well, I would've cut fingers off, but since they know where I live, I didn't think it was such a great idea.
