don't know why you wouldn't just get a fuzz factory though. same circuit as far as i can see.

Word.
2nd hand FF = Half the price of one these or so and you only have to fuck with your volume or bend over to spaz it out. That's worth $100 saving easy.

well its a cool sounding thing but the form factor and price are kinda out there...

for less money I could get a Zvex FF vextor and some velcro...
if you wanna go all in, swap the stomp out for a toggle and bobs your uncle

Yeap, Burgs definitely sounds like he was having a blast.

Yarp, AB-Synth is probably more versatile.

just picked one of these up and cannot for the life of me get it to sound like the videos i see on youtube, no self oscillation at all.
I notice they use single coils(Andy/strat, Brett/Jag)
I'm using humbuckers. does this thing work with HB??

Are you pickups active or passive?
If passive, can you coil split them?

I guess I could coil split them but not willing to go through that trouble just to use a "pedal".
So are you saying it only does the crazy self oscillating things with single coil pups?

just tried it with a strat, same deal. on top of that the volume knob has become scratchy and intermittent.
effin' POS. sending it back.

That's super lame. Still think this pedal looks fun, however I can't see buying one or actually using it live

I can't be the only person that thought it was going to be a triangle muff clone before watching the video?

Nah I just meant that it would be a way of checking as pedals that oscillate often react to the impedance in your pickups so by changing that you could have maybe got it to oscillate. Or yeah, plugged in a strat like you did.

Sucks that the pedal was non functional.

Get fuzzhugger Tom to make you a custom sonic shroom as a commiseration.

^ This is the right answer, and it would help ILF too!

Shame it seems to be such a bust, but you really could do the same thing with a fuzz factory/fuzzhugger thang and some velcro, so whatev's.
