What is that in funny money, though?

95 funny norwegian kroners. It's about the same as a medium Big Mac menu, or a pack of cigarettes.

The good local plain neapolitan style slices are 2.50 each but quite a few places have 2+soda for $5 or 6 and student specials for even less.
Right before Clinton left office I was able to get 2 slices, 2 garlic knots or 2 mozz sticks and a 32oz fountain soda for $5.
Here's how a 2.50usd slice typically looks around here:

That is fairly inexpensive. The only place that I know is cheaper is Costco.

So it's basically the same price, all things considered.

Dude, I know places in Oslo where you can get an entire pizza for 100 funny kroner.

That dough/crust looks decent enough, but I find myself questioning the quality of that cheese and/or sauce.

There is a cool place called Cvlt Pizza but they serve fresh ass ingredients and local only shit. Probably can get like two big ass slices and some speciality soda shit for like $8-10 bones. They have awesome pizza but it's some weirdo shit. I like that just fine. It's an occasional late night jaunt. Before they were open I saw Weekend Nachos play in the basement of the building. All of the equipment (pa, amps, etc) was hooked to one outlet. That outlet also powered a bunch of shit for the building. live dangerously mother fucker.
I played there. It was sketch.

Yeah, there's a lot of schwag trying to pass itself off as honest-to-goodness pizza.

How dare you, chank
It's a solid 8/10, my photography "skills" don't do it any favors.
Also the photo was taken about 4hr after I bought the slice, got it home and reheated via toaster oven. (I usually reheat slices in a covered pan, stovetop but had no patience and was hungry after doing the final leaf cleanup)
They use whole milk mozz and huge-pot "homemade" sauce (it's made in a pizzeria not someone's home)...and I blot off the oil because it's easier to fold slices without dripping all over everything. Plus you know, healthier

That cheese looks a little on the greasy side, usually a sign of poor quality cheese.

I'll take your word for it though. I often have to blot off some grease as well.

Yep. Cool pizza place. Kind of a sketchy venue. Bartertown just a few spaces over is cool, too. No pizza. And there's a semi-legit kinda secret speak easy skate ramp beer serving venue, too, that is nearby. I've never been. But the basement below Cvlt is sketchy town as far as electricity goes and totally par for the course in that house show/repurposed space kind of way.
Chankgeez wrote:odontophobia wrote: an order of bread nugs (like dank nugs but made from dough and smothered in garlic butter and parm)
In some parts of the world they call those "garlic knots".
But there are no knots in these. they're just nugs, man. DANK ASS NUGS OF DOUGH AND GARLIC BUTTER AND GOODNESS, OKAY.
