Although I'm sure I'll see it, I'm not a fan of CGI over models/animatronics etc. and I like film better than digital. Basically I like the 70's films, I've seen all of them and enjoy them but, there is honestly no comparison for me.
Did anyone else think the perspective/angles with the Millennium Falcon were horrible? Albeit, I'm glad it's in the movie.

Star Wars? Meh. Always meh. I watched all of them and though MEH the whole time. Why couldn't these be rated R and have more death and violence, and better acting, and less you know dumb shit. God I hate Star Wars nerds.

Do we need to make this all "I had friends on the Death Star" images to remind you of the death and violence?

Cringed on the lightsaber but some people said it's like, the ancient Sith awoke and they have these old-school lightsabers with unstable crystals and side-vents to release excess energy or sth. I'm buyin' it.

Yup, as stated. The old sabers were unstable as fuck, so they needed the vents to keep it from exploding and the "blade" part looks a little wonkier that a normal one as a result. Still make the new sith look like hes overcomphensating for something tho dont it?
Sorry jwar, im a Star Wars nerd. Dont kill me. :P

How much involvement does Lucas have?
The prequels were almost pure shit. The Phantom Menace was okay but the subsequent ones were almost unwatchable.
The trailer actually looks pretty cool, all things considered.

The more George Lucas does the more I'm convinced that his early films were a complete fluke. I hope he is nowhere near these new ones.

Sounds to me like someone wants a SW box set for ILF SS!
I smiled through the entire trailer. Looks like it will be less like episode 1-3, and that's all I ever wanted.

Kojima/Anno tinfoilhat conspiracy time:
10 bucks that they're retcon Boba Fett and he'll make an appearance, in any of the films - because he's totally the coolest, maaaaaaaaan.
I don't know, i'm certain that this will be exactly the same as The Avengers in a Star Wars universe, I'm not really a fan of Comic Films. I can imagine it having the same cinematography and massive budget and referential humour. The Antagonist will for some reason turn himself to captive, then flee. The Storm Troopers will probably hit their target in this film.
I'm still going to see it, I've just learned not to hype after trailers.
Honestly, I want this Star Wars film to be the exact same as John Wick, but replaced with Han Solo hunting down the guys that killed Chewy
